Migration from Windows to Windows

Moving from a Windows server to a Windows server requires the following tasks. Here is a sample email you can send to the customer explaining these tasks.

2	Customer	Install Remote Desktop (Terminal Services) for MV Support
3	MV Software	Initial file copy from old to new server.
4	MV Software	Install Windows Support software, Automated updates, mvs_tools
5	Customer	Add existing printers to new server
6	Customer	Add users and assign job numbers
7	Customer	Install Adobe Acrobat reader and Excel on new server
8	Customer	Test logins, printers, PC's.
9	Customer	Set live date
10	MV Software	Final file copy from old to new server
