Subject: How to save PROFITS PLUS reports to PC text files.

Overview: You can set up a Step for Windows PC to write PROFITS PLUS
reports to a file on the PC disk. You can then use other
Windows programs like Word to view, search, print, cut, and paste.

Procedure:
      - Install the "Generic / text only" Windows print driver
          on a PC running STEP.
START ->> Printers ->> Add Printers ->>  When it asks for
port, chose "print to file" instead of LPT1 or LPT2.

      - Set Step/FW's printer to be the "Generic / text only" printer.
In STEP ->> File ->> Print setup ->>
Printer name ="Generic / text only"

      - Use STEP/FW to print a PROFITS PLUS report.  PROFITS PLUS
sends the report to STEP. STEP sends the report to the text
printer.  The text printer pops up a dialog box asking which
PC (or network) folder and filename to store the report in.

       - The reports will be stored in the Windows file system
and users can easily access them using Windows explorer.
