Each night during backup the system automatically prints some reports. For example, one of the reports is Invoiced Order Edit List (FORLST), and another report is O/E – Order header/Detail Analysis OEANAL.
To change the printer that the reports are automatically printed on each night during backup, first find the printer name: go to Software Maintenance / System Printers (Task 22) or use the TAB key on any report screen. Once you have the printer name, go to:

Look for the parameter: INI’NIGHT’PRINTER= add the printer name.
To eliminate the reports from physically printing each night during backup, change the printer name on the parameter to: INI’NIGHT’PRINTER=TRASH
Note: a printer named “TRASH” will need to setup in the System Printers (Software Maintenance, Task 22).
Also Note: This will only stop the physical printing; the ‘function’ that generates the reports will still run.
